The boys put their two game winning streak on the line Friday afternoon against title-contender Hollis-Brookline in Goffstown. The game was a hard-fought physical battle with Hollis-Brookline controlling the play and tempo. Gofftown's stingy defense (3 goals allowed through 4 games) held strong, but did allow a goal late in the second half to fall behind 1-0. Despite a few quality chances by the Grizzlies in the final few minutes they could not find the equalizer on this day. Final score 1-0.
The boys next play defending state champion Windham in Goffstown on Thursday 9/18 at 4pm.
