Boys Cross Country

On the boys squad team performances continue to outshine the individual times. Last year hard work carried the Goffstown boys squad to their first ever trip as a team to the Meet of Champions. This Goffstown boys again show strong determination to go back. Only two teams Oyster River and Coe Brown have bettered Goffstown in division 2 this year. The idea of success through hard work is what Goffstown coaches Mike Veilleux and Sean Colligan strive to instill in the team. A great example of this is Matt Shaw who finished second for the team running a personal best of 17:41 on Derryfield. Although he's one of the goofier personalities on the team, his hard work and training over the past two years has shown how much a runner can improve. Two years ago he was running over 20 minutes in this race.
