Boys Lacrosse Advances to Championship

The boys lacrosse team faced St. Thomas in the semi-finals of the NHIAA Division 2 State Tournament Saturday evening in Exeter, NH.  St. Thomas defeated Goffstown in the regular season, but the result on Saturday was just the opposite.  Senior Jack Carney had six goals to lead the #3 seed Grizzlies to the upset.  The victory propels Goffstown to the championship game to face undefeated Bedford, a rematch of last year's finals.  Additional scorers for Goffstown were Stephen Dubois with four goals and an assist, Brad Chapdelaine with three goals and four assists and one goal from Jacob Ollila.
The championship game is Tuesday June 10 at 7pm at Exeter High School.
