Goffstown Girl's Soccer had a good showing today against a solid Oyster River side.
After getting out to an early 2-0 start, thanks to goals from Sydney Gagnon and Aly LeBlanc (a great shot from distance), Oyster River battled back to tie-it-up and force overtime. In overtime, Alyssa Bourque collected a great diagonal pass from Parker McBride and found the back of the net for the game winner.
It was a quality win verses a quality opponent. A good step for the group. We have to keep working to improve though, and use it to build.
We are back in action again on Friday against Windham with a 4:00 PM kickoff on the road.
