Baseball, Softball & Playoff Tennis

The JV softball and baseball teams travel to Plymouth this afternoon.  First pitch for both games are scheduled for 4:30pm.
With two games remaining, the fourth place varsity softball team is playing the third place Plymouth this afternoon in Goffstown.  A victory today will go a long way towards securing a home playoff game for the first two rounds of the state tournament.  The game is scheduled to start at 4:30pm or after senior day festivities.
The last week of varsity baseball's regular season begins with a contest between two of the top three teams in NHIAA Division 2 standings.  The first place Grizzlies (14-2) host the Bobcats of Plymouth (11-2) which are currently tied in second place at 4:30pm.  A Goffstown victory combined with a Hollis-Brookline loss and the home town boys will clinch the top seed for the upcoming state tournament. 
The boys tennis team starts their quest for a state title this afternoon in Lebanon. Goffstown, the five seed, ended the season with the same record as the Red Raiders, the four seed, but lost the tiebreaker due to a regular season loss to hosts.
