Boys Basketball Wins On Senior Night

Senior night is enjoyable for the fans and emotional for the seniors and their parents.  The Grizzlies enjoyed that emotion and upset previously Hollis-Brookline (10-5) by a score of 47-34.  These two teams face each other less than two weeks ago and Hollis won by 22, but last night was different.  Pat Kelsey and Tim Riehl, the only seniors on the young squad, led the way by playing tough defense, aggressively rebounding, and by controlling the ball on offense.  This was only the fourth win of the season for the young men, however it moved the team into 15th place and should solidify a post-season berth. The Grizzlies have two regular season games remaining.  February 26 at home against Pembroke and February 28 in Con Val.
