The boys Varsity Basketball and Ice Hockey teams are participating in holiday tournaments this year.
The hockey team is playing in the fourth annual Bauer Classic which takes place at JFK Coliseum starting today and running through Sunday. The participating teams are Manchester Memorial, Manchester Central, Manchester West, Trinity, Merrimack, Concord, Hanover, Bedford and Goffstown. Goffstown's schedule is Thursday - 4pm vs Merrimack, Friday - 6pm vs Trinity, and Saturday - 2pm vs Manchester Central.
The basketball team is playing in the Chick-fil-A Holiday Basketball Tournament being held at Nashua South High School.
The eight teams playing are Goffstown, Alvirne, Hollis-Brookline, Milford, Nahsua South, Nashua North, Souhegan, and Thornton Academy of Maine. The Grizzlies first game is scheduled for Thursday at 4:30pm vs Thornton Academy. Friday's game is either at 4:30pm or 7:30pm depending on results of Thursday's game.
