The boy’s
freshman basketball team played a pre-season tune-up game against basketball
powerhouse Trinity on Sunday December 15.
Falling behind 22-16 after the first half and 32-29 after three quarters,
first year Coach Matt Riehl’s squad increased the defensive intensity with full
court pressure and hit the boards hard to outscore Trinity 17-4 in the fourth
quarter and win the contest 46-36. Jakob Britton-Doucette’s 13 points, led the
way for Goffstown. The Grizzlies tip off
the regular season as part of a freshman, JV, and Varsity triple-header in
Windham Friday night December 20.
